I was born in New Orleans but grew up on a farm in Plaquimines Parish.
My family moved to Slidell 15 years ago and my two sons went to high school
here in the parish. I am married to Sal Ranatza and we have two grown sons,
Tristan and Nick. Tristan has made me a grandmother. My first grandchild will
be born in November. The rest of the family has four legs-my pug family.
This is my second year at Carolyn Park and I am very excited with my school.
This has been one of the best schools that I have taught in.
Everyone is helpful and I know this will be a great year!
