SPELLING:
Spelling words will be assigned every Monday. Students will take a pretest,
and on Friday will then only be tested on the words that they missed.
READING:
Our AR points are quickly racking up!!! Students earn rewards such as soft
drinks, ice cream parties, and breakfast and/or lunch from Burger King for
reaching certain goals. Encourage your child to be a part of our AR race to
a pizza lunch for the class.
If you have time to ask them a few questions about what they read, that
would be a HUGE help and I would greatly appreciate it.
LANGUAGE:
Generally there is very little written homework for language.
MATH:
We are working on measurement. Encourage your child to help you with a
recipe for dinner one evening. They may surprise you with their knowledge!
