Please be sure your student can tie their shoes and zip their coats when they return to school in January.   It is time for them to be more independent in doing these things for themselves. 


Our Class Para-professional, Ms. Karen Landreneau has a beautiful new baby girl!  We are so happy for her.  While she is out, Mrs. Jackson will be helping our class.
 
    
  Please join the PTA.  We would like to have 100% of our parents join.  It is only $5.00.  That's the best investment you can make in your child's education, and as a member of the PTA, you get to vote on how to spend the money they raise to help our school.
 
 
    Kindergarten has begun a recycling project!  We are collecting empty CapriSun pouches and we will turn them in for .02 cents each.  If we collect them all year, maybe we can earn enough money to pay bus transportation for an end-of-the-year field trip!  If you would like, you can help us by sending Capri Sun on your child's snack day and any empty pouches from home.  Thanks!
 
   
Sight words are tested at the end of every month.  So far we have learned 12 words but it will increase each month, especially after January.  It is easier to keep up than to catch up, so practice every night!
