I am very excited to be teaching Kindergarten. This is my third year of
teaching and I am excited about a new school year.
I graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University in May 2006 with a degree
in elementary education. I have certifications in elementary and early
childhood education. I have been waiting as long as I can remember to be
a teacher and will do the best job possible to meet the needs of all the
students.
Personal info:
I have been married a little over a year. My husband (Mr. Hugh) and I are
expecting our first child in June. We are very excited. I have two dogs:
Lilly and Ginger, one cat: Josie, and one turtle: Vern. I have one sister
and one brother and two wonderful nieces, who attend Chahta-Ima. I like to
read, shop, and go to the movies. I mostly enjoy spending time at home with
my family.
Our goal for the class is to create life-long learners who have an
appreciation and desire to be learners in their school and home communities.
