Dear Parents,
  
 I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Emily
Fowler, and I will be your child's first grade teacher. I graduated from
Southeastern Louisiana University, and hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary
Education.

 I have an open door policy. If you would like to talk to me, please feel free
to send a note, or give me a call. If you would like to observe your child in
the classroom, please let me know. If you are interested in volunteering to
help with classroom activities, your help would be welcomed and greatly
appreciated.

 I am excited to have the opportunity to work with you and your child. I am
