Dear Parents and Students, 

   I hope everyone had a great vacation! This second half of the school year
will be a busy one.  The iLEAP test is fast approaching.  There will be a
parent information night on Tuesday, January 12, 2010.  We will be discussing
third grade topics, including iLEAP information.  Continue to review your
vocabulary nightly.  The skills you see in the topic section of the homework
sheet for reading are the skills tested on the cold read test.  Grammar and
spelling are also covered on the cold read test.  It is important to review
these skills nightly.  Continue studying multiplication facts.  Everyone did a
fantastic job on their Anasazi Indian projects!
