My name is Mrs. Ducre. I am very excited about working with your child this
school year. I had been a resident of Lacombe for 11 years, before moving
to Slidell in September of 2007. My husband David and I have 2 children:
David, who is 12, and Ashley who is 9.
This is my tenth year teaching, and I thoroughly enjoy it. I am
committed to the success of all of my students. If ever there is anything
extra that I can do to help a student, I am willing to do it.
If ever you have any concerns, please call the school to set up a
conference. Or, you can jot me a note, and I will be glad to send you a list
of all of my available times.
I believe that all students have the ability to learn and have a right to a
quality education. I realize that all students have different learning
styles. The way one child learns, is not the way all children learn. As a
teacher, I use different techniques within my lessons to make sure that I
touch all children. I do not expect all of my students to be perfect. I
do, however, expect them to do their best.
