In our third unit the students will explore, discover and identify colors, shapes and sizes in our environment. Essential Questions: Why are color, size, and shape important? How does color affect our world? How do shape and size affect our world? How do colors make you feel? How do you use color, shape and size? Math Focus: Becoming familiar with the days of the week Knowing the name of the current month Counting with one-to-one correspondence to five Understanding the last number in a count tells how many in all Associating numerals up to 5 with a quantity
