Dear Parents,
WOW! January is already over.. What a month of exciting events...
The month of February is going to be a very busy month. We have begun to
practice our test taking skills to help prepare us for the iLEAP test we will
take in 3rd grade. We have taken our second benchmark test for the DIBELS
testing. The boys and girls have done a great job. We will continue to
practice our oral reading and retelling skills.
During February 1st – 12th, we will sell “Candy Grams”. The boys and girls
can purchase a “Candy Gram” to send to their friends family members, and
teachers. Each gram cost 25 cents. More information was sent home.
On Thursday, February 11th, we will have our Valentine's Party. The students
will be allowed to bring in their valentines for each of the students in our
classroom. I will send home a class list this week. Please have your child
fill out the valentines at home.
On Friday, February 12th, we will participate in our annual Mardi Gras
Parade. Please check your child's homework folder for more information.
