Dear Parents,
It’s that time of year again. We are all busy completing our holiday
shopping and participating in several holiday activities. But, please
remember to remind your child that the nine weeks is not over and they still
must complete their homework and prepare themselves for school. This is the
time of year that the boys and girls stop studying and their grades drop.
Many of the students forget to read their stories, study for their spelling
test, and practice their math facts. Please remind them that being prepared
for school is very important and helps them make Great Grades!
Tuesday, December 15th is our Annual Christmas Program. It will be
at Chahta-Ima this year. The students are to be at CIE at 5:45 pm,
dressed in their “Sunday Best” clothes. The students have been practicing
for their performance and are doing a very good job. Come out and see your
children shine!
On Thursday, December 17th at 2:00 p.m. we will have our Winter Party. We
will be decorating our own gingerbread houses. If you would like to volunteer
to help construct the houses and help the boys and girls please contact me.
Also, we are in need of some donations.
• Gram crakers
• Icing
• Gumdrops
• Sprinkles
• Mints
• Chocolate chips
• M & M’s (assorted colors)
• Licorice
PLEASE REMEMBER, Friday, December 18th is a ½ day of school. It is the end of
the second nine weeks. Dismissal will be at 12:31 p.m. Please encourage your
child to read over the holidays. School will resume on Monday, January 4th.
Have a safe holiday and Merry Christmas!
Mrs. Cole
