My name is Mary Beth Jeanes and I am one of three third grade teachers at
Claiborne Fundamental Elementary Magnet School. This is my third year at
Claiborne and I am very excited to be part of such a dynamic school. I
started working in education four years ago and received a master of arts in
teaching from Centenary College in 2008. I have a bachelor’s degree in
business administration from the University of Texas and like to claim that
teaching is my fourth and final career. My husband is currently stationed
at Barksdale Air Force Base and we are the proud parents of a high school
freshman boy and the adopted humans of a West Highland White Terrier.
I am very excited to be working with your children and look forward to a
great year.
