Does my child have homework?

Homework will be given Monday through Thursday and is necessary to reinforce 
concepts learned.  Homework should be done neatly on loose-leaf paper with 
the proper heading unless a worksheet is provided. If a student has an 
excused absence, he/she has three days to  arrange to make- up any class 
work, homework, tests or projects missed.
Students will copy homework assignments into their planners daily.  A 
homework grade will be recorded at the end of each nine week period.

How do I know when my child has an upcoming test or project due?

Your child should copy test dates and assignments daily into their agenda.  
Usually a week's notice will be given before a test is given.  Spelling  Pre 
test will be given every Wednesday and Test Friday.  Reading Vocabulary and 
Comprehension test on Friday. Caught Ya....daily language practice tests 
will be every other Thursday.

How do I check grades or progress of my child?

  You may access the sti @ home website listed on my links page, and 
enter your child's user name and password.  If you have not received a user 
name and password contact Mr. Bennett.

When do graded papers go home?

I will send graded papers home every two weeks .  
Look for them on Tuesdays in the graded paper folder.  Sign and return the 
attached form . Any D or F papers should also be signed and returned.
