Math/4th
Unit 6/Measurement Strategies/ We will cover customary units of length, 
fractions of an inch and metric units of length. There will be a quiz covering 
information on pages 528-539 on Friday.In addition, we will cover 
Daily Math lessons 146-150. Daily Math quiz on lessons 140-150 is Monday May 
20th. **Students should study multiplication and division facts daily! **GC 
Unit 6 GLEs: 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 22, 23, 28

Math/5th
We will continue Unit 7/Probability Cont. Lessons 5.1-7.1 Activities: 
chance, simulation and curling your tongue. Unit 7 review Thursday/ test 
Friday.In addition, we will cover Daily Math lessons 146-150. Daily Math quiz 
on lessons 140-150 will be Monday May 21st. GLEs: 29,30, 34, 35, 36

English/Spelling/4th/5th
Mountain Language Week 34/This week in grammar we will learn about articles: 
a, an and the along with proofreading and writing mechanics. Spelling pretest 
Wednesday and test Friday on chapter 10-14 words from Esperanza Rising.

SSR/log daily/Achieve/ This week we will be reading ch. 10-14 of Esperanza 
Rising. We will do various novel activities related to the literary elements. 
In addition, we will cover literary devices of symbolism, simile, metaphor and 
mood found in the chapters. Reading packet covering literary devices, 
vocabulary and comprehension from Ch. 10-14 will be due Monday May 21st. ELA
