It is hard to believe that we are starting the third week of the first 9 Weeks grading period. School started quite smoothly and all has been going well since then. Our 4th graders are adjusting to their new school and doing well. They are becoming an active part of our Cougar Family as you will see at Open House on the 30th of August.
Speaking of Open House, we want you all to come and meet your child’s teachers and learn about their expectations for the upcoming year. Our teachers have been working all summer to get their classrooms read, for the new school year and are excited about sharing it with you.
All of the teachers have web pages up and running. I checked and only two were incomplete but they will be updated right away. Most of our teachers are diligent about keeping  their web pages updated; however, if you run into a problem drop me an email, and I will do some follow up  work. Parent communication is on the top of our list of goals for this school year. 
We are in the middle of our third week of school, and if electives are to be changed then all requests must be in by the end of this week. All students should be in their classes and into a routine that will ensure their success this school year. Structure and discipline are key elements that guarantee student success and we here at Clearwood  Junior High work hand in hand with parents to achieve student success.
