In connection with the vision of Creekside Jr. High, the vision of
the athletic department is to not only train students to compete in
sporting events, but also to train our students to become self directed
learners and better citizens in the game of life.
The number one goal of the athletic department is to bring
out the good sportsman or sportswoman in all of our players. Students will
learn that competition is not about winning or losing. Competition is about
doing ones best, even in the face of adversity. Coaches will give students
the tools to handle adversity on and off the field.
Coaches also expect student athletes to be leaders at Creekside.
Players will learn how to be students first and athletes second. The Athletic
Department has implemented a Positive Behavior Support program into each of
the sports. Student athletics will be recognized for the achievements on and
off the field.
