About The Teacher
Welcome to Mrs. Talley's ELA class. I look forward to working with each of you this year. This is my fifth year at Creekside. I am a graduate of the St. Tammany Parish School System. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Elemenary Education from The University of Louisiana Monroe and started working here at Creekside. I completed my Masters Degree in January 2010 in Master's of Education- Special Education. My Husband( Brett) and I have one child. Our beautiful daughter Peyton will be 3 in September. I look forward to a wonderful year and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at any point during the year.

Mission
The mission for this class is to continue to improve literacy skills. We will be working on improving our reading levels, grammar skills, and writing skills. Grading Policy: English Classwork = 25% Tests = 35% Spelling = 10% Projects- 10% Exam = 20% Reading Classwork = 25% Tests = 35% Projects = 10% Quizzes = 10% Exam = 20%
