About The Teacher
Hi! Welcome to 6th grade ELA. I will be your ELA teacher during this year. This is my 10th year of teaching, although this is only my 6th year at Creekside. I taught in St. Charles parish for 4 years before moving to this area almost 5 years ago. My husband, Kris, and I have a 4- year old daughter named Kayleigh and a brand new baby boy, Kolton.

This year I hope for all of my students to develop a deeper understanding of literature. It is not my goal for all students to LOVE reading, but for all my students to appreciate reading on their own level. Life Expectations 1. Respect 2. Trust and truth 3. Positive Communication 4. Active Listening Behavior Plan *1st Violation- Verbal Warning *2nd Violation- Verbal reminder *3rd Violation- Lunch detention and loss of end of the nine weeks field trip. *4th Violation- After school detention
