I am so excited to have received a PTA MINI GRANT this year! I was awarded the
grant on Monday, November 2. Read about it in my blog.
The children have been inspired by READING COUNTS a computer based reading
comprehension check. The child reads a book from the Reading Counts list, and
takes a "test" on the computer to see how well they read the story. Children
pass the test for answering 7 or more correct answers out of 10 possible.
November "Book It!" reading logs can be turned in any time. The children
receive a coupon for a free pizza when they have read 10 books this month.
Mom's breakfast will be coming next Friday. Make plans to come and have
breakfast with your child.
Please remember to check your child's folder daily. Sign their behavior card
and remove daily papers from school.
