Thanks to Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Blankenship, Mr. Hernandez, Mrs. Maracich and Mrs.
Myers for chaperoning the Field Trip to Red Bluff Farm. We had a great time.

The Scholastic book orders were sent in. I am working on getting a link for
parents to order directly from Scholastic if they choose.
Thursday, October 9th, is the end of the first marking period. Friday is a
professional development day and record keeping.
Due to our short academic week last week, lessons for last week will be
continued this week and tests will be given in reading and spelling on
Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday we will be completing our book in reading. I
will allow the children to bring their reading books home to read to you on
Thursday. They must be returned Monday, October 13th.
