March is a super busy month.  We have lots of activities scheduled.  It begins with PTA 2K Fun Run on Saturday, March 9 at 8:00 AM.  The Third Nine Weeks ends on March 14 and report cards go home on Thursday, March 21.  There will also be a blood drive this month.  More information will be forthcoming.  The Easter Hat Parade, Egg hunts, and Class parties will be on Friday, March 22.  And we do have our Easter/Spring Break March 25-April 1.

Continue to work with your child's reading and writing skills.  They should be able to read the little paper sight word books I send home with them weekly.  They should also be able to write one sentence with sight words we have learned.  They should be able to sound CVC words they do not know.  They should be able to count to 100 by ones and tens. Keep practicing.  My mom always said "Practice makes perfect!"
