There are two Cultural Arts contests that the PTA sponsors each year. Below you will find information on the National PTA contest "Reflections" and the district "Safety Drawing" contest.
Reflections
Theme: Beauty is...
Deadline: Please turn all Reflections entries into the school office by Monday, November 16, 2009. The NPTA is also choosing the Reflections theme for the 2011-2012 school year. The winner will receive $100. Please submit “theme” entries by Wednesday, October 14, 2009.
The reflections contest is a program designed to recognize students at the local, district, state and national level for achievements in the arts. This includes dance choreography, film/video production, literature, musical composition, photography and visual arts.
Every student at Cypress Cove may enter. Students are judged on artistic merit, creativity and interpretation of the theme.
