How does the program work?
Parents, school faculty members, and others in the community
clip and save labels from Tyson products that feature the Project A+ logo. The
labels are collected at a participating school, and the school can then redeem
them for cash from Tyson.
Who is eligible to participate in Tyson Project A+?
Tyson Project A+ is open to all accredited schools (preschool
through grade 12) in the United States, including public, private, parochial,
and military schools (both in the continental U.S. and overseas).
How long does Tyson Project A+ last?
Tyson Project A+ is an ongoing program. Labels may be turned
in at any time during the year. The maximum number of labels a school can
redeem in one year is 50,000.
Which Tyson items carry the Project A+ Redemption
label?
In your grocer’s freezer section, look for Tyson products
that display the Project A+ logo. You may also visit the
products page on our website that lists exactly which items are
participating.
Why are the Food Service products, served in the school
cafeteria, not participating products?
Tyson Project A+ is a Retail-sponsored program only.
Why are fresh, fresh frozen, and ready to cook
products not participating products?
Tyson Foods, Inc. is concerned about safety issues involved
in the proper handling of non-further-processed products packaging.
How much are the Tyson Project A+ redemption labels
worth?
Each Tyson Project A+ label has a value of 24¢ when redeemed
by a registered school.
How much money can my school earn each year?
The maximum amount a school can earn each calendar year is
$12,000 (50,000 labels). The minimum amount of labels that may be submitted at
one time is 100 ($24 worth).
Are there any restrictions on how my school can use
its Tyson Project A+ funds?
No. Tyson Foods imposes no restrictions on the use of Project
A+ funds. A school may use its earned funds for supplies, equipment, special
events, pizza parties, band uniforms or however it wants.
