There are two Cultural Arts contest that the PTA sponsors each year - "Reflections" and "Safety". The Reflections contest is a program designed to recognize students at the local, district, state and national level for achievements in the arts. Categories for submission include dance choreography, film / video production, literature, musical composition, photography and visual arts. All students are encouraged to participate. Students are judged on artistic merit, creativity and interpretation of each year's theme.
The 2012 - 2013 theme is "The Magic of a Moment." We encourage each child at Cypress Cove to submit an entry for at least one category: Film, Musical Composition, Dance Choreography, Photography or Literature. This is a great opportunity for your child to express their artistic talent and have some fun!
