We had very good week last week and we are looking forward to learning
more new and interesting facts this week as well. We will test out of the
beginning chapter on subtraction on Tuesday. Please help your child remember
those rules for borrowing from the tens number. I teach them BBB - bottom
bigger?-borrw. Our story this week is a nonfiction science selection about
the rainforest. It is full of interesting facts. Our unit "Our Country Long
Ago" is proving to be a lot of fun. We are loving our Native American
activities. Be looking for the Interim Reports on Wednesday. Some students
are not doing as well as last 9 weeks because they are forgetting to listen
and follow directions.
