This week will be so much fun at Eastside Elementary! On Wednesday the
Buck Truck comes riding through our halls and on Friday we will have our POPS
party!!! It will be hard to keep our minds on school with all these
activities, but we will try.
We are reading a chapter book The Best Christmas Pageant Ever this week in
Reading. Our vocabulary and spelling words will come from this book. I am
reading the book orally to the class. We will have daily quizzes on two
chapters at a time. We will be testing out of Chapter 11 in Math and
beginning a new book . Our first chapter is money - just in time for
Christmas shopping! We are in our last chapter in Social Living and creating
some wonderful stories in Language Arts. Be watching the Denham Springs News
to see if they choose our letters to Santa.
The Christmas party note will be in you child's graded folder. I hope
everyone will be able to attend.
