During my teaching career I have taught grades K-8 and almost all subject
areas. I was here when Eastside opened and I am so proud of the educational
heritage we have at our school. For over 20 years I have had the honor of
teaching. I am married to Kenny Sharpe who is on staff at LSU. I have 3
children who have gone through the Livingston Parish school system and were
Denham Springs High School graduates. They have all continued their education
at LSU. I love children, reading, music, and nature. I am looking forward to
getting to know each family represented in my class. We are going to have a
wonderful year!
My mission is to help each child see their special abilities and talents.
I strive to motivate my students to reach their potential in all academic as
well as social areas. At the end of the year I want them to be smarter,
happier, more self confident, and have a greater curiosity about things.
