Announcements

  Dear Parents,
Thank you for joining us last week for our kindergarten kite day! It’s
always fun when parents come to school!
April is National Library month. Attached is a note and blank book form in
regards how to complete this assignment. Please return by Friday, March 22.
On Thursday of this week, we will visit the library on Captain Shreve Drive
at 10:00. We plan to leave there at 10:30 and go directly to Betty
Virginia Park. We would love for you to join us at the park for our picnic
lunch and Easter egg hunt, but we ask you to please make arrangements for
siblings. We will have our egg hunt in the area closest to the Fairfield side
of the park. Every child will purchase a sack lunch from the cafeteria on
this day so please make sure your child has money in their account. Your
child will need to bring their own Easter basket , labeled with their name,
on this day
Our Round up theme this year will be “Cowboys and Cowgirls.” For the program
you child will need:
Blue jeans (girls may wear a blue jean skirt)
White shirt with a collar(white school uniform shirt will work fine)
Each child will be provided with: cowboy/cowgirl hat, and bandana
Cowboy/cowgirl belts are optional (no holsters or toy guns)
Cowboy/ cowgirl boots are optional. If your child wears boots, they must be
western style….no uggs, rainboots, etc.
Please remember our meeting tomorrow morning at 8:30 to make plans to
decorate the stage for this production! We would love for everyone to join
us so please attend if your schedule allows!

We hope all of you have a wonderful spring break next week and your child
returns ready to focus as we have many skills and concepts to learn as we
prepare for FIRST GRADE!
We appreciate your cooperation.
