CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Fairfield Elementary Magnet had 10 students participate in the All State
Choir in Baton Rouge, LA on October 29-31. They were Cole
Albritton, Shaye Howell, Shelby Randall, Rachel Reeves, Bailey Snow,
Alexandra Wells, Victoria Wells, Olivia Zeagler, Eleni Fotakos, and Laura
Hurd.
I am so proud of these students and the time and energy they devoted to
prepare for this opportunity. The concert was fantastic! Thanks to the
parents, family, and friends that supported these students.
The 2nd and 3rd grades will present the Christmas Program, Once On a Housetop
on Tuesday, December 8 at 6 p.m. Students will need to be here, in costume,
by 5:30 p.m. to line up for the show. Permission slips are due NOW!!
The Fairfield Festival Choir will have after school rehearsals on Wednesday,
November 11, 18, and December 2 at Fairfield from 3-4:30 p.m. with other
schools in the area to prepare for their honor choir performance at Caddo
Magnet High School on Friday, December 11. There will be a day rehearsal at
CMHS on Dec. 11 from 8-1:30 p.m. and the performance will be that night at
6:30 p.m. Singers will need to be there by 6 p.m.
