This will be my 19th year of teaching. I have been at
Fairfield for six years. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends,
mexican food, creative things, surfing the web and movies!! I have two
beautiful daughters, ages 12 and 14. My oldest,
Kristen, is a freshman at Caddo Magnet High School. She is my nature lover!
My youngest, Katelyn, is a seventh grader at Caddo Middle Magnet. She is my
techie! Both of my girls are Fairfield Alumini. I also have a wonderful
husband, Brad, who has his own on-site computer repair business, Friendly PC
Guys. (He is awesome with technology!! This is probably where Katelyn got her
tech skills.) He is also very helpful at school. You
will see him around school every now and then. We have MANY pets that
include a turtle, an albino corn snake, a few ducks, two cats, and nearest
and dearest to my heart, a chihuahua named Lexie and a mini daschund named
Sadie.
I want every child to learn as much as they can and enjoy it every step of
the way. Five and six year olds learn best by doing. We are hands-on
whenever possible.
I also want every child to feel loved and accepted. We are all friends in
our class. Once your a Fajardo Friend, you will always be "one of my kids".
