Homework for our Honeybees

Homework folders will go home on Mondays. There are assignments for
each night. Please do not do all of the assignments in one night. Homework
is given for two reasons:
1. To review skills taught in class.
2. To teach students to work a little each day. Good study habits must be
practiced.

If you choose to do more than one assignment to work around your schedule,
please feel free to do so, just know that we cover skills throughout the
week. If you do all of the math on Monday, I may not have taught that
concept yet.
Return the folders with the completed homework on Fridays. Reading books may
go home daily, but they are required to go home on Wednesdays so your child
can read the story to you. A copy of the story is included in the homework
pack, but having the pictures helps with comprehension. Please remember to
document your 10 minutes of Reading on your (RAH)Read At Home log each
night. If you are reading chapter books, count each chapter as a book.

*******Library books will be checked out each Wednesday. Please have your
child return their library books on Tuesdays.
