Discipline Plan for Taylor's Terrific Dinosaurs

Classroom Rules:

1. Respect others.

2. Listen and follow directions given by the teacher.

3. Use the correct hand signal to get the teacher's attention.

4. Stay in your seat unless you have permission to do otherwise.

5. Change tasks quickly and quietly.

If You Choose to Break a Rule:

1st Time - Name under sad face--Warning --------------------------------------- A

2nd Time - One check--Lose 5 minutes of recess time --------------------------- B

3rd Time - Two checks--Lose 10 minutes of recess time and parents called ----- C

4th Time - Three checks--Lose 15 minutes of recess time and parents called -- D

5th Time - Four checks--Referral written and student sent to the office ------ F

*Severe Disruptions: Student will be sent immediately to the office.

*A student who chooses to break a rule after recess will lose his or her recess time the next school day. Otherwise names and checks will be erased at the end of each day.

Rewards

Name and checks under the happy face.--(daily)

Praise--(daily)

Stickers--(daily)

Positive notes home--(random)

Terrific Delicious Dinosaur Treat--(whenever the marble jar is completely full)

Terrific Dinosaur of the Week--(weekly)

"A" in conduct--(daily)
