WEEKLY HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS Weekly homework assignments will come home each Monday. Assignments are given for each night. Keep in mind that homework assignments are given so that students can review skills taught in the classroom and to help develop good study habits. Remember to complete all the assignments listed on the homework sheet. When all assignments are completed sign your name in the appropriate space. Return the folder on Friday with completed homework. Don't forget to read at least 10 minutes each night and document it on your Read-At-Home (RAH) log. Library books are checked out every Friday, but must be returned by Thursday. You may include your child's library book as part of his/her 10 minutes reading, as well as the stories that are assigned each week from your child's reading book. Your child's reading log counts as a reading grade, which is worth 20 points. The minimum reading requirement for the RAH log is 200 minutes each month. It is okay to read more if you desire. The more you read, the better readers you become. ************************************************************************************************************************************************************
