November 19^th Parliamentary Procedure Night at Fifth Ward

Parliamentary Procedure Team Members need to bring clothes to the shop before School starts. Students will stay after school with Mr. Peters to prepare for presentations.

Beginning at 6:00 pm Students will do Parliamentary Procedure Demonstration for parents and Guest. Students will perform and answer questions. Students trying out for Creed will speak about 7:00 pm.  All parents are encouraged to attend and see what your child has been learning. We should finish everything before 8:00 pm.

Students need to stay and watch other demonstrations.

December 1^st Parish Parliamentary Procedure CDE at Creekside Jr. High in Pearl River. Students need to bring clothes before school. Parents are needed to help bring students.

December 2^nd Pig Validation at St. Tammany Parish Fair Grounds

We will do them at Fifth Ward on December 3^rd

 

December 3^rd Pig Validation at Fifth Ward. We must get hair samples from each pig and put a District Show Tag in it Ear.

If you are Showing at Parish, and District you need to Send a Check made out to St. Tammany 4-H for Parish and District Shows and DNA Test

$4 per pig for DNA Test. $10 per Student for Parish and $10 per Student for District.

 

 

December 9^th District Parliamentary Procedure and Ag Leadership at Fontainebleau High

Students need to bring clothes before school. Parents are needed to help bring students.

 

News

Fifth Ward FFA was well represented at the State Fair. Members won many 1^st and 2^nd Places in Classes and Champion with their Animals and in Showmanship

More information will be provided later

 

Fifth Ward FFA Forestry Team placed TopMiddle School in the State. Chris Mowen was the Top in Compass/Pacing out of 80 students. Team Members were Chris Mowen, Kyle Herrera, Mathew Kemp, Sammy Jenkins, and Reese Tassin.

We are going to have food for the P-Law night at our school, Nov.19th. Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share with everyone. Students will cook Jambalaya.
