The goal of the Fontainebleau High School Freshman Academy is to successfully transition ninth grade students into self-sufficient high school students through a partnership with students, educators, administrators, and parents. Based solidly on current research, the Academy is a comprehensive program that strives to provide every freshman with an academic environment for the successful transition to high school. In the FHS Freshman Academy, we expect all students to produce high quality work. Students must strive to master all concepts and skills in all subjects and put forth their best effort on all assignments.

Students are placed into a specific Freshman Academy Team based on their four core subject teachers. These teachers will form a partnership to communicate actively with each other, students, parents, administrators, and counselors regarding student progress. The goal is to work as a team to facilitate individual student success.

To that end, the freshman academy developed this web site to give and your parents tools to help you build the necessary skills to earn your diploma and become college and career ready.
