As a Freshman, establish excellent High School survival skills. To be successful at FHS, a Freshman MUST:
- Be a self-advocate
- Form strong student/teacher relationships
- Communicate with teachers
- Attend classes regularly
- Take notes in class
- Keep a planner with assignment due dates
- Stay organized
- Complete all assignments on time
- Turn in absence note within two days of returning to school
- Study, Study, Study
- Attend tutoring if needed
- Earn strong grades in each of your courses
- Set personal goals
- Get Involved
