How can I keep up with my (my child's) grade?

Parents should use "STI Home" to keep up with their child's
grades. Mrs. Fitz updates this often. Please be advised that
STI may not display
averages for several hours - sometimes more.
Each students user id and pin number remain the same from 4th -
12th grade. If you do not know your child's pin number or did
not attend school in this parish last year, please contact the
school office to obtain this vital information.

What should my child do if absent for more than a few days?

Call the office and request assignments for those days so that
your child does not fall behind. Check this
website's "Homework, "Announcements" & "Handouts" sections for
information regarding homework/classwork
assignments and any scheduled tests/quizzes. Students may also
email me to inquire about missed work that may not be available
on the web site.

When are make-up tests given?

Make-ups are normally scheduled on Tues. and Thurs. mornings from
8:00-8:30.
Most students need approximately 30 min. to complete a quiz/test.
For students who are unable to come in early - afterschool
appointments can also be scheduled - see Mrs. Fitz should this
need arise.
** Make-up tests are not given during class - missing additional
instructional time only puts a student even further behind. Make-
up tests are not given during lunch (except for extenuating
circumstances)- this is mainly because most students would not be
able to complete the test during one lunch period.
