Can I have bonus work or extra credit to help raise my grade?

No. Bonus work/extra credit is offered throughout each nine weeks.

How often are tests given?

Tests are given as needed to assess comprehension of concepts.  All test 
dates will be posted on the webpage.

Is homework accepted late?

Late homework is accepted with a grade penalty, unless you are absent the 
date it is due.

What should I do if I am absent ?

1. Check the web site to see what was covered in class.
2. Call a buddy from class to check on new assignments or changes specific 
to 
your class.
3. E-mail Mrs. Authement from this website during the day for updated class 
work.
4. Call the school #875-7501 and leave me a message.  I will return your 
call as soon as I can.

How much homework will I have?

Homework is usually given 1-2 times a week.  All my students should be 
practicing reading and comprehension skills at home. Read to a family member 
and then discuss what was read.
