SCIENCE FAIR PROJECT INFORMATION

SCIENCE FAIR PROJECT STEP #4: SCIENCE FAIR PROJECTS: TYPE UP YOUR EXPERIMENT FOR APPROVAL.  1) LIST OF MATERIALS, 2) PROCEDURE IN 1, 2, 3 ORDER..... & A BLANK DATA COLLECTION FORM. We begin working on our Science Fair Projects during the 1st 9 wks. This project is staged using the following steps:

Step 1: Identify a problem/question

Step 2: Research summary

Step 3: Hypothesis written in an "If.........then.....format

Step 4: Experiment: a) materials list, b) procedure

c) Data - tables, graphs, surveys

Step 5: Analysis

Step 6: Conclusion - accept or reject hypothesis

Step 7: Application - This section is only for Science Fair

STEP 4.  ASSIGNMENT FOR SCIENCE FAIR PROJECTS: The due date for the experimental design is Thursday, October 22nd, 2009. The experimental design includes the following sections: Materials list, procedure in 1, 2, 3, 4......order, and a blank copy of your data collection chart. Make sure you are collecting data using numerical scores so that this data can be graphed for your project board.

5th ASSIGNMENT FOR SCIENCE FAIR PROJECTS: The completed experiment is due with data chart filled in on Thursday, Novmber 19th, 2009. This means for students that all experiments should be finished!

6th ASSIGNMENT FOR SCIENCE FAIR PROJECTS: The due date for the analysis of data is Friday, December 4th, 2009.

7th ASSIGNMENT FOR SCIENCE FAIR PROJECTS: The due date is Thursday, December 10th, 2009.

THE ENTIRE TYPED SCIENCE PROJECT THAT MEANS ALL SECTIONS MUST BE RETURNED TO ME ON EXAM MONDAY, WHICH IS DECEMBER 14th, 2009.

THIS PACKET IS HOW YOU RECEIVE YOUR 2nd 9 weeks PROJECT GRADE WHICH IS 20% OF YOUR 9 weeks grade.
