A. Class Rules
Discipline will be fair and consistent. Students are required to:
1. Enter and leave class in a quiet, orderly manner
2. Bring all required materials to class
3. Respect people, equipment, and furnishings
4. Sit in assigned seat unless given permission to do otherwise (groups will be changed periodically)
5. Adhere to the behavioral rules as outlined by the FJH handbook
6. Follow directions the first time they are given (especially important during labs)
B. Consequences
1st offense…. Verbal warning
2nd offense…. Conference with student after class; minor infraction form filled out
by teacher, student and parent; paragraph assigned to reflect on behavior
to be signed by parent
3rd offense…. Parent/Teacher conference (phone or e-mail)
4th offense…. Referral to disciplinarian
C. Rewards
Individual rewards- Cane Cash
Group rewards- snack day, classes earning 18 points (Fri-Thurs) have snack day on Friday, students bring own snacks to eat during class (no sunflower seeds or ramen noodles)
