Class Policies**Due to the need for students to learn and study in a quiet, interruption-free environment, a good and consistent management policy is imperative. In order to achieve and maintain this, a few, simple rules should be implemented and followed by all: Rules and Procedures: 1. BE ON TIME - Tardiness causes disruptions and therefore is unacceptable. - Tardy slips are turned into the office and tracked; there are stiff consequences for this habit. - Be seated and working when the tardy bell rings. 2. BE PREPARED - Have everything you need for class when you enter. - No one will be able to leave for a forgotten item. 3. BE RESPECTFUL ( To yourself and others. ) - Stay seated; hands, feet and objects to yourself. - Raise your hand and wait patiently to be called on. - Speak and act appropriately. 4. BE RESPONSIBLE - Follow directions the first time; do not make excuses. - Realize that every inappropriate action has a consequence. 5. BE HARD WORKING - Complete all assignments neatly and correctly. - Use your time wisely. ** PERSONAL CORRESPONDENCE (notes) ARE NOT TO BE WRITTEN, READ OR DELIVERED DURING CLASS – they will be confiscated and sent home! ** KEEP ALL FOOD, GUM, DRINKS AND CANDY OUT OF THE CLASSROOM ** CHEATING ( of any kind ) RESULTS IN AN UNACCEPTABLE PAPER ** ALL SCHOOL-WIDE RULES AND POLICIES ARE TO BE FOLLOWED Consequences: 1.
