Students must earn 35 reading counts points for the 2nd 9 weeks. Points are
due by Wednesday, December 16, 2009.
This week we are completing the novel The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark
Twain, reviewing direct and indirect objects and transitive and intransitive
verbs, and preparing for exams.
Students who talk too much and disrupt the class will be assigned the
following lines to write -
Talking is relevant only when it contributes to a learning experience, and
not while another is talking. A pleasant atmosphere helps each student feel
valued and successful.
Exams will be given in the following order
1st and 5th hour - Reading - Tuesday, December 15
3rd hour - Reading and 6th hour English - Wednesday, December 16
4th hour - English - Thursday, December 17
2nd hour - English - Friday, December 18
The schedule for the 18th will be 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 7th.
