We will continue our study of plant and animal cells this week. That entails
exploring the organelles that make up cells and their functions. The
vocabulary for this material is not easy, so you will need to put in some
time at home going over the terminology again and again. We will also make
models in several different forms, from 3-D paper models to some type of food
models (edible cells). Thursday brings a trip to the library pc lab for a
virtual lab on cells.
Don't forget your Current Events are due. Since I did not put it on my
website last week,(though i did tell you to write it in your planner last
Monday, and it was on the board), I will not count off points for those
turned in this Monday. Please get them done. You may possibly have a quiz
this week on plant and animal cells. STUDY!!!
Lastly, interims go out this Thursday. You will receive your school interim
in homeroom and an interim for science class from me.
