I received my B. M. Ed degree from Southeastern La. University in Hammond. I
am a member of LMEA (La. Music Educators Assoc.), IAJE (International Assoc.
for Jazz Education) and the American Federation of Musicians. I have
experience in teaching elementary, Jr. High and High School Concert Band as
well as Jazz Band. My instrument is the saxophone along with flute and
clarinet. I play professionally in our area as well as the Gulf Coast. Our
bands here at FJH compete at the State Band Festivals and receive Excellent
and Superior Ratings each year.
