When absent, it is the responsibility of the student to make up any missed

the class hour for missed assignments. Please make an appointment with me to
make up missed work.
Extended time will not be given for projects or assignments that are assigned
well in advance of a due date. If a student is absent on the due date, I
suggest calling a friend to deliver the assignment/project or have a parent
drop off the assignment at school.
Late assignments/project will be marked as follows:
one day late automatic 10 points off
two days late - automatic 20 points off
three days late - automatic 30 points off
No work will be accepted after three days. All make up work must be
completed before exam week.
DISCIPLINE
Classroom rules are as follows:
-Be in your seat and prepared to work when the tardy bell rings
-Respect yourself, all others and all property
-Respect the rights of all others to learn
-Talk one at a time only with permission
-No food or drink allowed in class unless required for a lab or given
permission
Consequences
Consequences for violating rules include verbal warning/conference with the
teacher; letter, email, or phone call to parents; written assignment;
detention; and/or office referral. If for any reason you need to contact me
my e-mail address is laurie.brannon@stpsb.org or you can call the school
office at 875-7501.
Home Economics is a fun class with lots of hands-on activities. I look
forward to working together with students and parents to make this the best
year at Fontainebleau Jr. High.
