The students will

1. proofread sentences,

2. develop an understanding of advertising techniques (aka propaganda),

3. create an advertisement,

4. read and respond to a short story,

5. read and comprehend cloze passages,

6. complete journal entries,

7. read Reading Counts!, and

8. complete informal testing.
