Strategies are planned methods or techniques for facilitating and enhancing learning (e.g., memorization techniques for assimilating materials; cognitive techniques for making meaningful associations among ideas).

Specific strategies will be taught this year. These strategies are the backbone of this resource course. Knowing specific strategies will aid resource students in becoming independent thinkers and learners.

Handouts on strategies (when applicable) will be kept in binders.
