Welcome, Seventh Graders!

My webpage is an incredible way for you to keep organized and updated on all of
our classroom happenings. From policies and unit objectives to classwork and
homework to test dates and handouts, it is all here. When you are absent or
you are not sure about an assignment, it will be here. If you forgot to get
a handout, you can print it from here. As you can see by the links, there is
a wealth of information provided for you at your fingertips.

Your seventh grade social studies curriculum is entitled AMERICAN HISTORY,
but it also covers geography, civics, sociology, law, religion, political science, and
economics. If you are not sure what any of these are, do not worry. I have
activities planned that will help you understand these.

Using a variety of methods, it is my hope that this year will help you to
think globally, appreciate our country and our world, and become involved and responsible citizens. It is also my hope that you can get great satisfaction in the
knowledge that you acquire and begin to use. I can't wait to get started; it
will be great fun!
