Classroom Policies

 

1.     Respect the people, equipment, and furnishings of the class.

 

2.     Follow directions the first time they are given.

 

3.     Follow the procedures designated by the teacher.

 

4.     Calmly enter the class and prepare for the class to begin.

 

5.      Observe all rules in the student handbook.

 

Consequences

 

First time:       A warning, or a name on the board will be given.

Second time:  An action plan will be given

Third time:      A parent phone call will be made after third

                        action plan, unless the third incident happens in

                        the same day.

Fourth time:    A referral will be written for other incidences.

 

Severe disruptions:  Students will be sent to the office

                                 immediately.

 

REWARDS

 

Positive praise will occur daily

Free days may be given at the end of each week

Exemptions from skills tests

Various other positive perks will be given        

        throughout the school year i.e. Cane Cash

The reward of learning every day of the year
