Students who violate established classroom rules will be referred to an administrator
It is in your child's best interest that we work together. Thus, should your child's conduct in my classroom be disruptive, I will be in contact with you and will expect you to help me correct the problem.

Course Requirements:
1. Complete classroom activities. Completion of all assignments and classroom participation is also expected. Late work will be accepted up to three days after assignment is due with a ten point deduction for every day that the assignment is late. For projects late work is not accepted no exeptions.
2) Portfolio of Work. The portfolio should have evidence of all course accomplishments, be organized, somewhat pleasing and contain as a minimum the following:
a. Bell Ringers b. vocabualryquestions c. handouts d. completed assignments e. class notes
skills to be emphasized are: vocabulary, reading comprehension, and critical thinking.
Basic Materials: Grading Scale:
Standardized Tests 92-100 = A Teacher-made Tests 83-91 = B Visual Aids 74-82 = C Quizzes 65-73 = D Projects 0-64 = F Rubrics classwork, homework, and other activites count for 60% of the total weighted grade. Quizzes and tests count for 20% of the total weighted grade. Exams are 20% of the total weighted grade. |
