BELOW IS REFERENCE INFORMATION/ BEGINNING OF YEAR LETTER TO REVIEW.
BEGINNING OF SCHOOL LETTER/ GRADING/ GENERAL INFORMATION BELOW:
"I am excited to be working with you at Fontainebleau Junior High School
this year. I welcome this opportunity and want to encourage close
home/school communication (875-7501 school/ email home
weberrg@bellsouth.net)."
".....It would be helpful to review the importance of following rules in
general. Our class rules are listed below:
1. BE ON TIME
2. BE PREPARED
3. BE RESPECTFUL TO YOURSELF AND OTHERS
4. BE A HARD WORKER (Do your best in everything.)
Students who obey the rules receive praise, privileges, individual and
group rewards as positive reinforcements."
GRADES - READING
80% homework/classwork/participation/written projects
20% EXAM
Regarding discipline, the disobedient student receives a
warning/phonecall/"Think Time",and/or teacher detention before any office
referral is needed; therefore,I do not anticipate many problems in this area.
Additionally, a reward system is in place with students earning LOTTERY
tickets for the weekly lottery (Held every Friday).
Clearly, positive behavior is the norm.
I encourage all parents to get involved by giving support, and
generally 'being there' as part of our educational team. With your
assistance at FJH this year, we shall be (CANES)
Creating a challenging Atmosphere for Navigating toward Excellence and
Success.
Thank you for your support and cooperation.
